Electric sunroof components - removal and refitting

Switch
1 Disconnect the battery negative lead.

2 Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, carefully prise the switch from the overhead console.

3 Disconnect the wiring plug and remove the switch.

4 Refitting is a reversal of removal.

Relay
5 Remove the overhead console.

6 Unclip the relay from the motor assembly and disconnect the wiring plug (see illustration).

7 Refitting is a reversal of removal.

Motor
8 Remove the overhead console.

9 Disconnect the motor wiring plug.

10 Unscrew the three securing bolts, and withdraw the motor assembly from the roof.

11 Refitting is a reversal of removal, but ensure that the drive gear is aligned with the roof operating mechanism.
